Now in its 10th year, the international conference and exhibition MRO Russia & CIS is the only event of its kind and scale in the CIS. This year’s exhibition floor of 1,000 sq.m hosts more than 80 booths representing various industry players, from airlines and lessors to MRO providers and government regulators. There are over 100 participants from 30 countries, including from Russia, the CIS, the EU, and the US. Visitors have a chance to learn about products and services offered by major MRO specialists and parts suppliers.
The conference does not just bring together industry professionals, it also provides a platform for the discussion of topical issues related to aircraft maintenance, repair and airworthiness extension. The agenda reflects the needs and interests of industry players.
This time around, the conference will focus on MRO operations in the current situation of economic uncertainty and Western sanctions. Also discussed will be the need to restructure fleets in the light of the shrinking demand for air travel. For the first time in the history of the conference, this year’s program will include an aero-engine MRO workshop which will discuss, among other things, the peculiarities of repairing foreign-made powerplants in Russia.
Another topic of discussion this year will be the planned changes to the national regulations governing the maintenance of Russian airliner fleets’ airworthiness.
